Teleprompter Video Recorder Privacy Policy

Effective date: 11 October 2026

Teleprompter Video Recorder helps you write scripts and record video or audio while reading them. This notice explains how the app handles information.

Scripts and recordings

Scripts, preferences, videos and audio recordings are stored in the app’s private area on your device. The app does not require an account and does not upload this content to a developer-operated server. When you choose Share, Android sends the selected recording only to the app or service you choose.

Camera, microphone and floating overlay

Camera and microphone access is used only for recording features you start. If you enable the floating teleprompter, Android grants permission for the script bubble to appear over other apps and a foreground-service notification remains visible while it is active. You can disable the bubble or revoke these permissions in Android settings.

Advertising and consent

Google Mobile Ads supplies banner, native, interstitial and app-open advertising on eligible non-recording screens. Unity Ads is configured as a Google mediation source for banner and interstitial ads only; native and app-open ads are not served through Unity mediation. Ads do not appear over active recording or media playback. Before requesting ads where consent is required, the app presents Google’s consent flow and provides a way to revisit privacy choices. Google, Unity and their partners may collect, receive, share or otherwise process online identifiers, IP address or IP-derived approximate location, device and app information, advertising interactions, diagnostic information and purchase history for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Unity’s advertising-service disclosures identify purchase history among the data that may be collected or shared. The store receipt used by the Remove Ads verifier is sent to Cloudflare, not to Unity. Provider processing is governed by applicable privacy information, including Google’s Privacy Policy and Unity’s Privacy Policy.

Optional Remove Ads purchase

If you choose to buy or restore Remove Ads, Google Play or Galaxy Store processes the payment. The app transfers the selected store, app package, product ID, transaction or purchase identifier, store receipt, request ID, nonce and client timestamp to a protected HTTPS verification service hosted on Cloudflare. This purchase-history data is collected only when you use the optional purchase or restore path and is used to validate, restore, prevent replay of, refund or revoke the entitlement. Scripts, videos, audio recordings and prompt settings are not sent with that verification request. Remove Ads suppresses banner, native, interstitial and app-open ads; recording, prompting, script management and sharing remain available without paying. Store transaction information is also subject to the applicable store’s terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Scripts and recordings stay on your device. You can delete individual scripts or recordings in the app. A copy you share is handled by the destination you choose. For purchase verification, the service retains a replay response containing the transaction or purchase identifier for up to 10 minutes, an ownership record and local entitlement-cache instruction for up to 7 days, terminal canceled, refunded or revoked state and reconciliation markers for up to 365 days, and a transaction or purchase identifier index plus reconciliation checkpoint for up to 2 years. The two-year index retains the raw identifier because it is needed for store revalidation; keys and logs use hashes. The service does not persist the full receipt outside the short replay response. Rate-limit counters expire after 60 seconds. Expired records are deleted on read or list operations and scheduled alarms, so removal can be delayed by outages or maintenance. Google access tokens are memory-only and normally expire in about one hour. Clearing app storage or uninstalling does not remove the server-side purchase-verification records. Advertising information and store-held transaction records follow their providers’ applicable policies.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera, microphone, notification and overlay permissions, revisit advertising privacy choices when available, and delete individual scripts or recordings. You can also clear app storage or uninstall the app; those actions do not delete server-side purchase-verification records. There is no in-app control to delete those records. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@zoopet.in. A request does not automatically override the retention periods needed for purchase validation, replay protection, refund or revoke handling and reconciliation.

Children

The app is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
